The perfect day trip from Panama City to a paradisiac place. In approx. 2 hours in ferry you can be in one of the most beautiful beaches of Panama.
You can arrive either in airplane or by boat. I took a ferry departing from Amador to Contadora Island. The journey is perfect to get a nice tan and relax enjoying the lovely view of the sea.
I arrived to a paradisiac beach called “Isla Cacique” where the Hotel “Mar y Oro” is placed. The color of the sea was amazing, you could see three shades of blue. You are surrounded of so much nature that it’s inspiring.
You can rent the deckchairs at the hotel. It’s great because you are around all the pure nature but at the same time you have the hotel facilities, such as bathrooms, restaurants, etc. I chose to drink some piña coladas at the bar and enjoy the view. Make sure you wear your sunscreen because the sun is strong and wear a beach hat or cap so you can protect your face, remember the sun is the biggest enemy of wrinkles.

UN ESCAPE A ISLA CONTADORA POR EL DÍA
Un day trip perfecto desde la ciudad de Panamá a un lugar paradisíaco. En approx. 2 horas en el ferry puede estar en una de las playas más bellas de Panamá.
Puedes llegar en avión o en barco. Tomé un ferry que salía de Amador a Isla Contadora. El viaje es perfecto para broncearse y relajarse disfrutando de la hermosa vista del mar.
Puede alquilar las tumbonas en el hotel. Es genial porque estás rodeada de la naturaleza pura, pero al mismo tiempo tienes las instalaciones del hotel con sus comodidades, como baños, restaurantes, etc. Me tomé algunas piñas coladas en el bar y me dediqué a explorar, caminar por la playa y disfrutar de la vista. Asegúrate de llevar puesto tu protector solar porque el sol es fuerte y usa un sombrero o una gorra de playa para protegerte la cara, recuerda que el sol es el mayor enemigo de las arrugas.
